Mazda Recalls Australia 2024 Update. More than 8,000 cars sold in australia have been recalled over serious combustion hazards. Mazda australia will contact all affected customers to advise them to present their vehicle to their preferred mazda dealer to update the engine control module with a revised calibration, free of charge.

The recall covers nearly 600,000 vehicles made in china between 2005 and 2017 and more than 750,000 imported vehicles made. Thousands of mazda vehicles have been recalled over a manufacturing defect which could cause “injury or death”.
